Arnsberg, July 2025 - Clean lines, distinctive design language and highly efficient lighting technology: the new Varitura from TRILUX delivers excellent illumination for offices, new work environments and educational facilities. At the same time, it makes a strong design statement. Its striking square, translucent profile offers a uniform design aesthetic across diverse applications. Suitable for both VDU-compliant workplace lighting and general illumination, it can also be used in ancillary spaces thanks to its IP54-rating. Available in multiple lengths and luminous flux options, Varitura also supports simple 1:1 refurbishment of existing systems.

Varitura impresses for the first glance. Its minimalist, timeless appearance with defined edges complements contemporary architectural styles, while its translucent housing and diffuse wide-beam optics ensure high-quality, standard-compliant light. Available as a surface-mounted or suspended luminaire – and optionally with an indirect upward component for ceiling lighting – Varitura is suitable for computer workstations (UGR < 19) and technical zones thanks to its dust and splash-resistant (IP54) design. The result: a cohesive, visually striking lighting solution for office and education projects where performance and aesthetics are equally important.
With a high energy efficiency efficiency of up to 160 lm/W and a service life of 50,000 hours (L80), Varitura meets the requirements of key subsidy programmes such as the Federal Subsidy for Energy Efficient Buildings (BEG) and building certifications. Thanks to its modular design, the luminaire is also easy to retrofit, maintain and repair - a major plus point for sustainable and future-proof lighting concepts. And when it comes to smart control, the possibilities are endless. Intelligent light management can be easily implemented via DALI, ranging from basic sensor control to full integration with the LiveLink Cloud or a building management system. A Tunable White version is also available, enabling Human Centric Lighting solutions that mimic natural daylight and promote wellbeing.
Upgrading existing lighting installations is very easy with the Varitura. In many cases, a direct 1:1 replacement is possible. The luminaire is available in two lengths (1,200 mm and 1,500 mm) and with luminous flux packages from 3,700 lumens to 6,100 lumens. A continuous groove on the top enables flexible mounting using existing drilling points and suspension distances, making retrofitting a quick and cost-efficient process – with minimal installation work.
