TRILUX becomes an official BVB partner

Arnsberg/Dortmund, 3 November 2026 – Since 2010 the lighting specialist TRILUX and Bundesliga football club Borussia Dortmund have been working closely on a project basis as part of the BVB Business Network. Now the next step has been taken: since the start of the 2026/27 football season TRILUX has been an official BVB partner. "The new partnership level is a milestone in the long-standing collaboration, which we can continue and intensify over the long term," says Hubertus Volmert, CEO of TRILUX. The partnership has been agreed through to 2030.

TRILUX and BVB are both traditional companies based in the Arnsberg administrative district of North Rhine-Westphalia. But the collaboration is not only geographically "obvious". The companies share a similar set of values. "Just like BVB, TRILUX also stands for a high standard of quality, commitment, team spirit, precision and reliability. This shared understanding of quality provides the optimal basis for a trusting and long-term collaboration," explains Carsten Cramer, Chief Executive Officer of Borussia Dortmund.

Light as the twelfth man

Whether directly on the pitch, in the training and visitor areas or around SIGNAL IDUNA PARK: the lighting makes an important contribution to sporting excellence and an attractive sporting experience. That is why TRILUX is now bringing its lighting engineering expertise and comprehensive portfolio into the collaboration as an official BVB partner. “In particular, energy‑efficient LED solutions and intelligent lighting control offer numerous ways to significantly reduce energy consumption and improve the light quality of sports lighting, and to further professionalise the experience,” explains Michael Blum, Managing Director TRILUX Vertrieb GmbH and Cluster Lead DACH and BeNeLux – and he is already looking forward to the closer cooperation with the Bundesliga club from Dortmund.
