With Osido bollard solutions, paths and areas around buildings can be illuminated in the typical Osido range design. Available in two designs and heights.
The Osido bollard supplements the Osido range to create a uniform overall design for outdoor areas around buildings – without any design compromises. At night it provides high-quality light for safe orientation and a pleasant atmosphere. During the day, its timeless and minimalist design sets architectural accents. The luminaire head, identical to the Osido wall luminaires, creates a harmonious overall appearance from the pathway to the facade.
It’s all simple: the baseplate only requires two screws, and the underground cable is wired in a junction box with Wago terminals, or alternatively, conveniently wired in the cable junction box. The supporting column can then be precisely aligned using a thread with screws and fixed with a single screw on the back. Then fix the luminaire head to the supporting column without tools using Click & Connect, just like the Osido range. Done.
Osido bollards provide customised light in all applications. The precise light control enables particularly wide spacing between two bollards and minimises radiation into the upper hemisphere. As a double-bollard version with two light emission surfaces, Osido is also suitable for illuminating areas, e.g. car parks.
As a smart version with integrated daylight and presence sensors (optional), the Osido bollard minimises energy consumption and carbon emissions without compromising on security. A power supply in the outdoor area, e.g. for charging an e-bike, can be easily implemented via an optional socket on the back of the supporting column.
As an eye-catcher and sustainability statement, the supporting column is available on request made of weather-resistant Accoya wood. The wood is obtained from sustainably managed forests and, with the highest durability class 1 according to EN 113 and EN 252, is ideal for outdoor uses.
The Osido bollard is available with either round or square luminaire heads. Depending on the design, one or two light emission surfaces are possible per supporting column (double bollard). With two supporting column heights (1 m and 0.6 m) and a wide selection of optics and light distributions, the bollards fulfil all lighting tasks
As well as the traditional DB703 (metallic grey) version, Osido is available in all RAL colours on request. And for areas needing very high stability, an underground support with length 0.5 m is available as protection against vandalism. Highly practical: if wall luminaires with face illumination are used, a cover disc or diffuser as an accessory for the bollard heads ensures a stringent design down to the last detail.
