With the 98 IQ post luminaire, light becomes a tool for urban design: style, innovative lighting technology and smart functions create atmosphere and a new quality of life in outdoor spaces.
With the innovative Eco Case concept, 98 IQ sets new standards in terms of easy maintenance. The cover and gear tray can be opened without tools thanks to the bayonet lock. The driver can also be replaced completely without tools. The result: maximum convenience and minimum effort after installation.
Whether for display purposes, orientation or atmospheric colour accents – 98 IQ makes it possible to specifically increase the vertical illuminance to effectively highlight adjacent facades. The integrated secondary light source in the luminaire body can be controlled independently of the primary light: activity, dimming level and light colour are conveniently adjusted via smart control. This creates variable lighting moods, from evening facade illumination and energy-efficient orientation to creative city marketing.
Light management is also a decisive lever for sustainable lighting in outdoor areas. It saves energy, lowers carbon emissions and reduces the impact on people and the environment during the night. With the smart versions of 98 IQ, light management and sensor control can be conveniently implemented without compromising the clear design of the luminaire. The PIR (passive infrared) sensor technology integrated almost invisibly into the post mounting element is open to all systems and can be used with any Zhaga D4i-certified system. Additional Zhaga interfaces on the luminaire head enable networking and smart functions such as running light.
With IP66 protection and IK10 impact resistance, the 98 IQ luminaire is ideal even under the toughest conditions – suitable for use up to wind zone 4 and snow loads of up to 100 kg/m2.
The light colour influences ambience and sustainability (insect-friendly light). Solutions are available with 2200K, 2700K, 3000K, 4000K and a Tunable White version.
Everything’s possible, from simply switchable to smart: choose between ET, ETDD, LR / LRA and SLR circuit types.
With luminous flux packages from 1,000 lm to 6,000 lm, 98 IQ can be precisely configured for specific projects.
