TRILUX is upgrading the pedestrian crossings at two roundabouts in Buxtehude to adaptive lighting as a pilot project.
Jovie LED mast luminaires with PIR sensors and Tunable White technology are being deployed. When a passer-by enters the detection area, the luminaires change their light colour from warm white to cool white. This additional visual cue heightens awareness and thereby improves the safety of all road users.
