As a Specification engineer the primary focus will be selling to strategic M&E consultants, but also potentially Architects and Developers in and around the London area and building a medium and long-term pipeline for lighting and associated services via the specification market.

Specification Engineer

 

Major Duties and Accountabilities:

  • Prospecting, the generation of qualified and profitable leads
  • Project identification, tracking and forecasting.
  • Managing existing Accounts seeking and developing client referrals
  • Develop and maintain a customer database, sales and promotional materials
  • Make sales calls to new and existing clients
  • Develop and present company products and services to current and potential clients

The Project Manager will be responsible for the full coordination of identified key projects as well as all turnkey projects ensuring a smooth and on-time delivery.  This includes, but is not limited to, the coordination of surveys, lighting design requirements, quotation submissions, order management through to delivery and project completion. This role is home based.nYou will work closely with all project stakeholders including Consultants, Contractors, interdepartmental team to ensure efficient execution of tight project plans.

This is a hands-on and fast paced role which requires a high level of organisation and the ability to communicate at all levels.

The Company offer a solution which includes manufacture, supply, installation and commissioning. The Project Manager will be responsible for the full coordination of identified key projects as well as turnkey projects ensuring a smooth and on-time delivery. This includes, but is not limited to, the coordination of surveys and quotations, order management through to delivery and project completion.

The ideal candidate will come from a construction background to support the mobilisation and delivery of the project including the H&S aspect (pre-and post-construction H&S plan and method statement/Risk assessment). They will work closely with all project stakeholders including Consultants, Contractors and the internal team to ensure efficient execution of tight project plans. This is a hands-on and fast paced role which requires a high level of organisation, timely decision making and the ability to communicate at all levels.

This role is home based and involves regular UK travel.
