With intelligent light management systems and IoT components, modern lighting installations are now multi-talented and offer numerous customer benefits. Regular maintenance ensures that the lighting system is always up to date and functional.
An annual routine inspection of the system as part of the TRILUX maintenance service ensures that the needs of the customer are met, and also unburdens the customer’s own facility management or externally commissioned companies. The service includes adjustments to the lighting installation as well as any replacements of defective components and software updates to the light management system.
The maintenance service eliminates the need to maintain the lighting system yourself. The regular scheduling, inspection and documentation is carried out by TRILUX, making the involvement of internal facility management or external companies superfluous. The deployment of specially trained experts ensures that the lighting functions consistently and reliably.
Regular maintenance protects the lighting system and prevents failures. With an existing lighting control system, system updates ensure optimum operation and availability of the latest functions.
Customer needs can change, and work hours, use of rooms or daylight conditions can vary. As part of maintenance, the lighting control is regularly checked and, if necessary, adjusted to optimally respond to such changes. This keeps the lighting system flexible, efficient and always matched to current requirements.
A lighting system optimally maintained and adapted to customer needs is energy-efficient and reliable. Regular maintenance is decisive for resource-saving operation of the system, and thus actively promotes sustainable and environmentally conscious building management.
TRILUX takes over complete organisation of the maintenance service for the customer. Maintenance is usually carried out once a year. At the start of the year the maintenance period is planned in advance by TRILUX: this ensures timely and structured implementation.
The maintenance date is proactively agreed directly with the customer. Requests for changes to the lighting control, current observations or possible problems are discussed in advance. This means that maintenance can be specifically prepared and efficiently implemented.
On the agreed date, trained experts carry out the maintenance in accordance with the defined scope of services. All luminaires, control components and software are checked and, where necessary, optimised. The current status of the system and measures carried out are recorded in the maintenance log. If further action is required, the necessary steps are then subsequently coordinated by TRILUX.
Once maintenance has been successfully completed, together with the invoice the customer is given the opportunity to specify wishes for the coming year. This means the service stays at a consistently high level and can be adapted to individual requirements.
Maintenance begins with a careful visual inspection of all luminaires. Defective or damaged components are checked and replaced if necessary. This keeps the lighting system permanently functional and reliable.
As part of maintenance, the brightness is measured at selected points to ensure uniform light distribution and correct functioning of the lighting installation.
The light management system is tested as part of a comprehensive system check-up to ensure full functionality. This includes checking the communication between the app, gateways and luminaires as well as exemplary tests of scenes, configurations and groups.
If the monitoring service is activated, system access is checked and the connection to the light management system is tested as part of the maintenance process. Any anomalies or error messages are identified and immediately rectified. This means the monitoring system stays fully functional and provides reliable operating data.
During the maintenance, structured, digital documentation of the system status is carried out. All work carried out and anomalies identified are recorded in a standardised maintenance log.
