TRILUX has been using LED light sources in the inserts of its continuous lines for many years. State-of-the-art LED modules, high-performance optics and modern control gear units ensure market-leading energy efficiency of up to 226 lm/W.
Various inserts, tailored to the specific situation of the space, can be mounted to TRILUX trunking which serves as the infrastructure for hall lighting. The luminaire inserts are available with a wide range of light distributions and lumen packages. For customised lighting concepts in halls of any size and height.
Smart light management ensures even more efficiency by providing lighting on demand, enhanced ease of use and data transparency – and is set to become mandatory for many typical industrial buildings according to new legislation for building modernisation. TRILUX continuous line systems are designed for this purpose, and provide control lines to enable DALI-compatible luminaire inserts and sensor modules to be networked quickly and easily.
When refurbishing old systems or installing new lighting in industrial and commercial premises, every second counts: downtime costs money. The advantage of continuous lines: the mechanical work can be carried out by trained installers without requiring tools – extremely efficiently and independently of the electrical connection.
Continuous lines are a safe investment because they are durable and remain flexible. Refurbishments are quickly carried out: conventional luminaire inserts are replaced by modern ones with LED technology. Existing systems can be expanded or adapted to changing requirements any time, while sensors and emergency lighting can be retrofitted.
The trunking of powder-coated sheet steel gives TRILUX continuous lines a sturdy and durable framework. Couplings, electrical feed-ins and taps reliably contact with the integrated current-carrying system. The LED luminaire inserts are specified for a service life of up to 100,000 hours (L95). Depending on the specific application, protection ratings to IP64* can be achieved.

Thanks to 22 application-specific optics, E-Line and E-Line Pro are universal lighting solutions. TRILUX is the only supplier to offer luminaire inserts with Lensible® optics. These combine a special arrangement of lenses in clusters with microstructures on the surface of the optic – inspired by nature. Lensible® reduces perceived glare by 30% and ensures maximum colour clarity and uniformity, with efficiency of up to 226 lm/W.
E-Line Pro trunking represents the logical evolution of the continuous line principle: Up to 35% quicker to install, even more versatile, and connectible in every way. This can be seen, heard and felt – including an audible confirmation that the profiles and inserts are securely connected, both electrically and mechanically. Installation is tool-free and allows for spacing of up to 4 metres between suspensions.
The continuation of the tried-and-tested E-Line trunking means investment security for existing users: existing installations can be refurbished and expanded in no time at all with the latest lighting technology, because all 22 optics are available for both types of trunking. The standard E-Line continuous line can also provide a decisive economic advantage under specific conditions.

The continuous line system is like a modular, kit-based system for linear lighting. It consists of sturdy support profiles (the trunking) with an integrated current-carrying system, the various luminaire inserts and function modules, as well as accessories. Continuous lines are configured individually for each project according the specific application, and the components are installed on site.
In addition to their fundamental benefits, the latest continuous line systems also have high energy efficiency, long service lives and failure resilience of the LED technology. Application-specific optics and drivers that can be controlled and networked via light management also make LED technology particularly user-friendly.
Continuous lines are ideal for large areas because they can be mounted quickly and scaled to practically any size. A tool-free system such as E-Line features simple installation and offers precisely the right solution for any application: the system has 14 different optics and light distributions for industrial use alone, as well as different protection ratings (IP20, IP50 or IP64*) according to the environment.
The current-carrying system of E-Line Pro trunking is designed to accommodate control cables for DALI. This means that DALI-compatible luminaire inserts can be switched, dimmed, controlled and monitored digitally, as well as linked to sensors for e.g. presence or daylight detection. Light management systems such as LiveLink provide convenient configuration and operation – right through to implementing HCL (Human Centric Lighting) scenarios and integrating into building management systems.
E-Line and E-Line Pro benefit from over 50 years of TRILUX experience as a producer of continuous lines. Since being launched in 1992, millions of E-Line systems have been manufactured and installed. The new E-Line Pro trunking takes ease of installation to a whole new level. 22 application-specific optics are available for both trunking systems, most of which feature the patented Lensible® lighting technology for highest quality of light and efficiency.
Both systems use the same 22 application-specific optics – albeit with different mounting and connection methods. With standard E-Line trunking, the spacing between the electrical contact points is fixed. With E-Line Pro however, the luminaire inserts can be positioned anywhere thanks to the integrated (up to 13-pole) current-carrying system. Further E-Line Pro features: Clear markings indicating the direction of installation with audible confirmation of mechanical and electrical connection ensure more reliable and speedy overall mounting, with a modern, clean appearance.
