What is the best way to gain detailed insight into a complex specialist theme? By attending a TRILUX Akademie theme day. TRILUX is a firm believer of learning through inspiration, example and networking and this is exactly what we provide at our popular theme days. The events are designed to offer participants a complete view of a specific technical area and communicate valuable expertise.

So, we are pleased to announce that it is almost time for our next theme day. On the 27th October at the Castlefield Rooms in Manchester, from 17:30 onwards, the event will provide a fascinating insight into the future of lighting and its role in the digital revolution. Guest speakers, Richard Taylor and Matt McGuire will discuss key points such as Big Data, Internet of Things, LiFi and BIM, followed by a technical Q & A session.  Richard Taylor is a renowned Lighting Industry expert having worked at Director level for both Erco and TRILUX and is now a sought after Management Consultant with a specialism in future technologies. As a Director at BIM Tech Engineering, Matt McGuire delivers BIM Project coordination on complex projects across the UK and is passionate about the latest developments in intelligent modelling.

Rebecca Ryan, Head of Marketing & TRILUX Akademie UK, explains, “This time we have decided to go for a theme evening, as everyone is so busy during the day. During our events, experts offer intensive and sometimes controversial insights examined from various angles. We always allow for extra time after each lecture to let participants discuss and exchange information. So far we have had great feedback on the days. The mixed groups of participants from diverse professional backgrounds make the theme days the perfect platform for networking among colleagues – and for looking beyond your own horizon.”

TRILUX theme days are not just about work, all participants are invited to stay for a buffet dinner and drinks afterwards, with a chance to pick the experts brains further. Rebecca concludes, “We believe that socialising with peers is also a great form of learning and helps with retaining information, so we really encourage our delegates to stay and have a drink.”
