The Italian energy company A2A is currently refurbishing the outdated lighting at a total of 70 schools in the Brescia region. As the service company responsible for the maintenance of these buildings, they were looking for a way to remotely monitor the new lighting solution.
We were able to offer this solution, but our TRILUX Team Italy went "the extra mile" and not only convinced the customer of our digital monitoring services - but also impressed them across the board , for example with the excellent quality of our luminaires and services. We were able to win the entire project management, including the commissioning of all luminaires,
networking and connection to the LiveLink lighting management system, as well as the integration of an emergency lighting system in the cloud. The customer has contracted the cloud-based services for the next 15 years. And this is just the beginning: "The project is continuously evaluated and will be used as a blueprint for other schools," says Sirio Greco, Sales Manager at TRILUX Italia.
In the first project phase, which has already been completed, ten schools were retrofitted - and this was done during the vacations so as not to disrupt school operations. Everything went quickly, professionally and smoothly: "Thanks to our turnkey solutions and the implementation with TRILUX as a full-service provider, all components and processes are perfectly coordinated," explains Marta Stypułkowska, Project Manager at TRILUX. We are currently in phase two of the project - and are in the process of refurbishing the next 30 schools.
Of course, the lighting is planned individually for each school. But the individual building blocks are already fixed in advance. In addition to the E-Line, which provides attractive and standard-compliant light everywhere thanks to precisely fitting optics, Arimo Fit recessed ceiling luminaires and Mirona Fit hall luminaires are used - depending on the school and requirements. All luminaires are networked with our LiveLink lighting management system and monitored in real time via the cloud using our monitoring services. As the energy savings from the first schools are already fully in line with expectations, the third phase with the remaining 30 schools has also already been commissioned! There's more to comeif the model is an overall success, A2A plans to successively extend the offer to other cities and schools. Avanti, Italia, avanti!
