Since March 2026, “the good things” have also found a home in Graz – at the newly opened Manufactum department store. A carefully curated product range, historic architecture and TRILUX lighting quality come together in perfect harmony, creating an impressive sensory experience that brings Manufactum’s brand values to life.

One lighting solution for every requirement

Spotlights and track systems – versatility by design

Manufactum is located in a distinctive building in Graz’s historic city centre: the “Jugendstilhaus” on Murgasse. The property offers a fascinating variety of spatial settings, ranging from the attractive street frontage with large display windows and areas with suspended ceilings to the spectacular atrium surrounded by a vaulted gallery. A system comprising tracks and B.Veo Track spotlights meets all lighting requirements across approximately 500 square metres of retail space with ease.

Tracks installed flush with the suspended ceilings create a calm, uncluttered appearance. In contrast, square track arrangements suspended on wire cables protect the historic structure beneath the vaulted ceilings and in the atrium. The planners selected “Efficient White” as the light colour: with CRI >93, this tailored spectrum meets high standards of colour rendering, delivering crisp whites and rich, vibrant colours. This ensures that both the natural wood tones of the display furniture and Manufactum’s diverse product range are presented to optimum effect. At the same time, the artificial lighting integrates seamlessly with the natural daylight in the atrium.

Versatile lighting technology

Spot, Medium Flood and Flood – the right optic for every application

Within their compact cylindrical housing, B.Veo Track spotlights offer a versatile range of optics designed for retail applications. The driver is always integrated into the slim adapter. At Manufactum in Graz, Spot optics create precise accents within the limited space of the display windows. Product tables throughout the retail space are illuminated efficiently and effectively using Medium Flood optics. For shelving and vertical surfaces, the planners selected Flood optics to achieve particularly uniform illumination.

“TRILUX lighting quality and Manufactum’s high standards for interior design and product presentation are a perfect match,” says Sani Lerota, the TRILUX sales representative responsible for the project. With around 270 B.Veo spotlights, the Graz department store has been equipped with a flexible, efficient and future-proof lighting solution. Good light for good things – a concept that proved the perfect fit for this project.
