Week of Light in Amersfoort
Sustainable in the Netherlands
Since April 2022, we have been on the road throughout Europe with our Living Contrasts program - showing customers and partners our innovative, smart lighting solutions at impressive locations. Now a very special highlight was on the agenda: the "Week of Light" in Amersfoort. An exciting program awaited the guests at the TRILUX Headquarters Benelux with inspiring presentations and theme stations, visits to the Client Lab and the Light Campus - and a wooden building in the parking lot that had seemingly sprung up "overnight": the BetaPort.
Together for circularity - the BetaPort in Amersfoort
In the lookout for innovative solutions for smart, sustainable buildings, we work closely with partners from other companys. Since the beginning of 2021, for example, with Urban Beta. The Berlin-based start-up has developed the BetaPort, a circular space solution based on wood that can be flexibly scaled and used in a variety of ways thanks to its modular structure, for example as an office or mobility hub for expanding the charging infrastructure.
Together with the renowned lighting design office "jack be nimble", we have equipped the BetaPort with smart, energy-efficient solutions, for example the So-Tube LED or the ConStela LED outdoor luminaire with charging function for e-mobiles - and can thus vividly inform about sustainable lighting concepts and offers such as Light as a Service.
Sustainability is a central issue - we show presence
At the same time as the "Week of Light" in Amersfoort, the "Greentech Festival" took place in Berlin. And there, too, we were present (for the second time) together with Urban Beta and the new, further developed BetaPort NEXT. In both cases, Amersfoort and Berlin, the cross-trade, sustainability-oriented approach met with high interest. This encourages us on our chosen path, and doubly so. With BetaPort NEXT, we can demonstrate our expertise in energy-efficient, future-proof lighting "live and on the living object" - and on top of that, we get to talk to an attractive target group in a new environment. We think so: This collaboration is a successful, all-round sustainable affair.
