Smart solutions for the lighting industry

TRILUX trade fair review - Light + Building 2026

Under the motto "Light. Spaces. Dialogue." TRILUX showed at Light + Building 2026 how light characterises rooms, creates atmosphere and optimally supports people in different environments. Instead of traditional product presentations, the focus was on experiencing, trying out and exchanging ideas. In the five theme worlds Retail, Industry, Outdoor, Office and Lighting Management, visitors were able to experience the effect and potential of intelligent lighting first-hand. The launch of the company's own IntuSens sensor portfolio, which further strengthens TRILUX's position as a holistic provider of smart lighting solutions, attracted particular attention.

IntuSens

TRILUX's own sensor solution

Smart lighting and intelligent lighting control remain important topics in the industry - driven by energy efficiency, smart and green building requirements and regulatory specifications such as the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) or the Building Energy Act (GEG). Interest at the TRILUX stand was correspondingly high.

The IntuSens PIR sensors, developed in-house and presented for the first time at the trade fair, make it much easier to get started with automated lighting. They combine an innovative, patented operating concept with an elegant design and are available in five series for every installation situation. "IntuSens is a central component of our holistic approach to smart light. Luminaires, lighting management, sensors and services - we now offer our customers complete solutions from a single source in which all components and processes are optimally harmonised. This significantly simplifies planning, installation and application," explains Hubertus Volmert, CEO of TRILUX.

Lighting management

Extended scope of services

TRILUX presented further lighting management solutions at the trade fair. For example, one of the biggest challenges in practice is the heterogeneous technical infrastructure of many buildings, which makes consistent, intelligent lighting control difficult. TRILUX addresses this problem with a wireless extension for DALI-based LiveLink Premium networks. With the new LiveLink Bluetooth® NLC Gateway, wired DALI networks and wireless radio networks can be combined, configured and controlled in a hybrid system for the first time. Commissioning takes place via a common user interface in the LiveLink ONE app. In addition, a new interface ensures seamless integration into the existing building management system (KNX and BACnet).

New solutions for retail, industry, outdoor and office

TRILUX also presented numerous innovations and further developments in the other theme worlds that set standards in terms of lighting quality, efficiency, flexibility and design. The Lenty spotlight range is a highlight in the retail sector. Thanks to a new lens optic, the spotlight is 20 per cent more efficient and achieves an efficiency of up to 90 per cent. The light cone is virtually scatter-free with a soft, but clearly defined edge - ideal for accent lighting and product presentation at the highest level. In the Industry segment, TRILUX presented a luminaire insert with a new patent-pending lens technology for the E-Line Pro. The innovative optical system improves efficiency to over 220 lm/W, impresses with its high colour brilliance and effect and at the same time reduces the subjective perception of glare.

The new decorative 98 IQ mast light also attracted a lot of attention. On request, it is available with a secondary light source in the luminaire head. It can be used to increase the vertical lighting component in a targeted manner - ideal for highlighting façades in pedestrian zones, for example. The universal Yonos modular system has also been expanded: additional 220 mm optics, new connectors and further colour variants offer even more design freedom in office lighting.

Recap the highlights of the trade fair

Anyone who would like to take another look at the trade fair innovations at their leisure, or who was unable to attend in person, will have the opportunity to discover them at TRILUX Competence Centres and Light Studios over the coming weeks.
