Campus Novartis

The pharmaceutical company Novartis has constructed an underground garage on its campus with 800 bike spaces.Although a functional building and subterranean, the car park is a bright and attractive space.

Large ring luminaires fitted into circular ceiling cavities contribute significantly to this effect. The 16 luminous “wheels” with external diameters of seven metres are the result of a complex special luminaire development process implemented in close cooperation with the architect Marco Serra and the lighting design practice Licht Kunst Licht.
