When the engineer Wilhelm Lenze founded the company in 1912, the invention of the light bulb was just 30 years old. From the very beginning, we have helped to shape the lighting market with a pioneering spirit and innovative strength - for example with the development of a linear luminaire with three times the efficiency of the standard at the time. Hence the name TRILUX.
During the economic miracle, TRILUX started its expansion abroad with its first subsidiary in France and has consistently driven internationalisation ever since. Another milestone followed in 2011 with the founding of the TRILUX Academy - with the aim of deeply anchoring the highly complex lighting expertise within the company and at the same time bringing it to the market.
TRILUX has recognised the importance of new technologies such as LED, light management, IoT and digitalisation from the very beginning and is actively driving the market transformation towards energy-efficient, environmentally friendly and smart solutions. In short, we are working today on the light of tomorrow.
