Applications

Residential areas

A slice of quality of life
More safety for residents and an attractive neighbourhood: in residential areas with a light point height of up to five metres, quality of light and luminaire design are important selection criteria for their impact on quality of life.

Bicycle paths

Anything but a minor matter
The Lumega IQ 50 N with its compact luminaire head provides excellent light for bicycle paths and footpaths thanks to a lens that is specially matched to the requirements. Thanks to multi-lens technology and asymmetrical light distribution, the Lumega IQ 70 N also provides optimum illumination of streets with adjacent cycle paths and footpaths.

The potential of car parks

Cleanly illuminated areas
Where cars are parked and manoeuvred with passers-by crossing, suitable quality of light is a must. With Lumega IQ LED, the design is right to boot. At mounting heights of up to eight metres, the luminaire is an attractive solution for public and private car parks.

The main thing on main roads

Cleanly illuminated areas
Multi-lane roads, rapidly moving traffic, intersections and crossings: glare-free light from a great height – typically over eight metres – secures main roads while modern design enhances the cityscape.

Pedestrian crossings

Safety for hazardous areas
Excellent visual conditions are a must at critical areas such as pedestrian crossings. With tailor-made light distributions for these hazardous areas, the Lumega IQ LED ensures overview and safety.

Advantages in lighting design

Providing all the options as simple as possible – with two construction sizes and a wide selection of optics, lighting and electrical technology, Lumega IQ LED meets all standard requirements for lighting in public spaces. Thanks to its sophisticated refurbishment concept, upgrades can also be devised quickly and simply.

Benefits during installation

Convenient features such as low luminaire weight, a pre-installed connection cable and tilt adjustment via a single screw simplify and speed up installation. Conversion from post-top to bracket-mounted luminaire is a matter of a few simple steps, and maintenance work such as electrical block replacement can be carried out without any tools.

Advantages in operation

High efficiency, a long service life (100,000 hours) and robust construction (up to wind zone 4) make Lumega IQ LED particularly attractive from an economic point of view. Meanwhile, high-quality luminaire design also enhances its surroundings. Simplified maintenance and repair reduces maintenance efforts while increasing sustainability and future-safety.

Design

Beautiful and smart cities – a big step towards the future (of lighting)
