The assembly room of Baden-Württemberg Parliament, previously exclusively illuminated with artificial light, has now been opened up for daylight as part of an extensive refurbishment project. 

Between circular apertures in the roof and the translucent light ceiling in the hall, LightGuides transport natural light directly into the hall or decouple it in the intermediate ceiling space according to the concept of Licht Kunst Licht. LED light structures with tunable white functionality were also installed above the light ceiling. These either supplement daylight according to requirements or implement complete illumination of the hall in the evening hours. The colour temperature of the LED light can be varied between 2,700 and 6,500 Kelvin. The result: a great variety of light scenes for the assembly room for highly different spatial effects. The LED light is also highly functional, even for TV broadcasting.
