Since its foundation in 2011, the TRILUX Akademie has been one of the most important contact points for up-to-date lighting expertise in Germany, Europe, and the Middle East. The recipe for success: in-depth expertise, experienced speakers, customized training formats for lighting designers, electrical planners, architects, installers, and anyone who deals professionally with light. And finally, a high level of practical and customer proximity.

A total of twelve branches in ten countries offer a wide range of high-quality basic and advanced training programmes on lighting fundamentals, new technologies, and current industry topics. Whether basic courses for beginners or highly specialised seminars for seasoned professionals, face-to-face or digital lectures - anyone who works professionally with light will find the right training for every level of knowledge.

Last year alone, more than 32.000 participants joined the programme of one of the TRILUX Academies.

Sharing knowledge, shaping the future

But why is it so important to continuously update knowledge? What are the most important topics and developments in lighting? And what goals has the Academy set itself for the coming years?

Christof Volmer (Head of International TRILUX Academies), Paweł Morawski PhD (Trade Manager CEE & Head of TRILUX Akademie Poland), and Nagendra Nagesh (Head of Design & Academy Middle East APAC / India) answered these and other questions. Roll the film.

Global lighting expertise, local offers

Even though lighting knowledge itself knows no national borders, the rules and regulations on lighting are different in every country. In addition to international topics such as lighting quality and digital lighting design, the Academy therefore also offers customised programmes that have been specially developed for the respective markets.

In 2024, customers can once again look forward to numerous events in the form of seminars, webinars, and theme days. The Academy in Poland is offering four events on the topic of trends in the lighting and innovations that will take place in unusual locations such as for example a salt mine. In addition, workshops focusing on Lighting Management System and Sustainability are planned for important strategic partners in the Baltic States and the Western Balkans. In Germany, the three-day practical course „Basic Lighting Qualification“ will take place in May, providing a solid basic knowledge of light and luminaires.

After completing the course, participants will be able to assess existing lighting systems and make recommendations for refurbishment. Another highlight is the theme day „Space for success: New office concepts for a contemporary corporate culture“ on 12 June 2024 in Arnsberg. Renowned experts will provide a comprehensive overview of the new working environments, from interior design options to acoustics and lighting in New Work environments.
