Three TRILUX products distinguished with iF Design and Red Dot awards

Four awards for three luminaires – the successful result for the luminaire producer TRILUX in the first quarter of the year. Both the Sanesca LED wall luminaire and the Lateralo Ring LED ceiling luminaire for offices were awarded the Red Dot Award 2015.
The 38 internationally renowned designers in the jury distinguished both luminaires in the Product Design category. This is the second award this year for the Sanesca LED - together with the Polaron IQ LED wall and ceiling luminaire, it gained the coveted iF Design Award 2015 in the Product/Lighting category. Members of the jury for both awards analysed criteria such as levels of innovation, manufacturing quality and functionality for their evaluations.
Discreet and extremely flexible: Sanesca LED
In cooperation with the DECK5 industrial design partnership, the lighting experts from Arnsberg developed this high-performance lighting solution for the health sector, a luminaire blending harmoniously into its surroundings thanks to its discreet and appealing design. The luminaire impresses not only in terms of appearance – the sophisticated optics combine indirect light emission with direct reading light, and without causing glare for patients in adjacent beds.
A purist cover with high illumination output: Lateralo Ring LED
This member of the Lateralo office luminaire range that won several awards in 2014 features a transparent, purist cover that blends harmoniously into all architectural interiors. The luminaire ensures high levels of planning flexibility with highly diverse application options, and the optimised distribution of the indirect and direct light components provides appealing light atmospheres with balanced luminance levels. The complete Lateralo family was developed in cooperation with the designer Hartmut S. Engel.
Ideal adaptation to all room interiors: Polaron IQ LED
The highly diverse Polaron IQ LED from TRILUX has now won its second award this year. Its round, filigree light profile adapts ideally to all room situations thanks to its intelligent, modular design. The Polaron IQ LED can be used as a recessed, semi-recessed, surface-mounted and suspended luminaire, was designed together with Sieger Design and has already been distinguished with the German Design Award 2015 in the ‘Excellent Product Design’ segment.
