The first "green" mosque has been inaugurated in Dubai. The new building, which cost four million euros, is highlighting energy efficiency and sustainability. The lighting systems for the building were sourced from TRILUX.

The Khalifa Al Tajer mosque was constructed in compliance with the US Green Building Council Standards. TRILUX fully supplied the project, mainly with Inperla Ligra, Polaron, Nextrema and Mirona luminaires (all LED).

"The construction authorities were not only impressed with the energy efficiency but primarily the inherent quality of TRILUX products," informed the Technical & Marketing Manager for Middle East, Omar Rabah. "We also managed to quickly understand

customer needs through employing our philosophy of Simplify Your Light, and we provided ideal solutions. Our customer certainly benefited from our services in every aspect."

A further new building construction is being planned as a consequence of the highly successful implementation of this project in the Middle East that resulted in a series of highly positive headlines – the first "green" mosque in Dubai has rapidly become a showcase project in the region.
