Perfect interaction of daylight and artificial light in the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg

20.11.2017 | Projects

Bringing natural light into the previously trapped plenary hall was no easy task, because the building of the Landtag is a listed monument. With the use of circular skylights in the roof, the building could be opened for natural light without changing its architecture.

A total of 38 small and large skylights were fitted into the flat roof.

Dirk Alheit, TRILUX project manager, supervised the project from day one:" Development, sampling and optimization were carried out in a cooperative process. The result is a technically convincing and attractive solution."
