> Indoor lighting / Specific lighting requirements / Lighting of traffic zones and general areas in buildings / Break rooms, sanitary rooms and first-aid rooms
The quality criteria for lighting of break rooms, sanitary rooms and first-aid rooms contained in table are minimum values which can be exceeded to suit room conditions, user requests and visual tasks. This can be necessary e.g. for washrooms and toilets in nursery schools, public areas, exhibition halls and self-service restaurants to enhance a feeling of safety but also to aid higher hygienic requirements. Lighting installations can contribute significantly to room design and acceptance, but also to careful use of the rooms by providing accents.
