Traffic zones and general areas exist in almost all buildings. Therefore, the lighting requirements are summarised in this chapter. However, it is possible certain lighting tasks are described better in other chapers, e.g. in chapter "Lighting of rooms in the healthcare sector" or chapter "Lighting of training facilities". This applies particularly for corridors and staircases as well as sanitary rooms.
