Besides broadcast control, group control and addressed operation of DALI participants, there is the additional option of defining and calling up up to 16 light scenes. To this end, an individual light value per scene can be stored in each control gear unit. Fundamentally, this means that light scenes depend on the DALI participants’ group assignment. In practice, however, there is a direct reference to luminaire groups in commissioning with many control gear units when it comes to light scenes.
